- 26 Oct 2025: The mainline repair is scheduled to happen on Wednesday, 29 Oct, through Friday, 31 Oct. If there is any change we will post updates here. - 25 Oct 2025: The Town has recently informed us that the mainline failure from the Town line that occurred this past spring will be permanently fixed during the last week of October. The contractors that will do the repair are waiting for the proper weather conditions in hopes of being able to do the entire repair in 24 hours. The Town will inform us two days before the repair so we can fill our tanks and prepare. This notice is being sent to all users so they can be aware. We will post the exact date here. We urge you to please check the site regularly during that last week in October as any additional updates will be posted to the site. On the date of the repairs, you may experience a slight loss in pressure, and we ask that you conserve water as much as possible. Maintaining water in our tanks will help us keep the system going and avoid having to do boil orders after the repair.
- 25 Oct 2025: Pit covers, meter pits and meter reader posts: It has been brought to our attention by our water operator that various meter reader posts have been knocked down, damaged, and meter reader wires have been severed in various instances rendering the readers inoperable. Also there have been several instances in the past of livestock damaging the meter pits and pit covers. Just a reminder per our rules and regulations, “All Users shall keep their service pipes, connections and other apparatus in good repair and protected from frost and water damage at their own expense.” Please use caution when mowing and weed eating near meter pits and meter reader posts to avoid damage. If livestock is present, it’s recommended that you install fencing around the meter pits and meter reader posts to prevent damage. Please replace any damaged meter reader post and splice any broken wires. If the water operator cannot read the meters due to damaged or broken posts or reader wires he will repair or replace them. If this is necessary, you will be billed for his time at $50/hour plus mileage for any parts and materials required. Thank you for your help in these matters.
- 3 Jun 2024: Due to the recent water outage, we are testing various areas throughout the system for leaks or any other possible issues. Be advised we are cycling different parts of the system on and off for short periods of time to complete these tests. If you live in the affected areas, your water should only be off for a very limited time. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve your water service. Thank you.
